Real estate agents need to renew their licenses at regular intervals as a requirement by the New York State Division of Licensing Services. The process of renewing your real estate license in New York is fairly simple and includes the following steps:

Step 1: Complete your New York Real Estate CE Course

The first step towards your New York real estate license renewal is completing the required state-approved New York Continuing Education course.

Step 2: Complete your New York real estate license renewal application

Once you have completed your continuing education course and course exam, you need to go to the New York State Division of Licensing Services website and update your course completion numbers.

Step 3: Pay the New York real estate license renewal fees

Lastly, you need to pay the renewal fees to complete the renewal process.
