How to get a Real Estate License in Georgia
To become a real estate agent in Georgia, you must first get your Georgia real estate license. The process of getting your real estate license generally takes a few months and includes the following steps:

Enroll in an Georgia real estate school
The first step to getting your Georgia real estate license is to enroll in a real estate school and complete a 75-hour real estate pre-licensing course.

Pass the course final exam
Once you have completed the 75-hour Georgia real estate pre-licensing course, you must pass a course exam that will help prepare you for the state exam. The exam consists of 152 questions with a minimum passing score of 75%.

Complete the background check
You may need to submit a background check to verify your identity and right to work as a real estate agent in Georgia.

Apply for your Georgia real estate license
Submit your application online by filling out the relevant form with the Georgia Real Estate Commission, either electronically or via mail.

Pass the state license exam

After satisfying the educational requirement, candidates must pass a background check, register for and pass the real estate licensing examination with a score of 75% or higher, obtain sponsorship from a licensed Georgia broker, and apply for their Georgia salesperson license.
