Vermont Energy Goals for Professionals

Vermont Energy Goals for Professionals examines Vermont's energy goals and the progress made toward achieving them, including the state's Comprehensive Energy Plan, Climate Action Plan, and Global Warming Solutions Act. The course also covers the fundamentals of solar photovoltaic systems and energy efficiency strategies related to the building envelope, HVAC systems, appliances, and lighting. Upon completion, students will be able to identify Vermont's renewable energy goals, describe the components of a solar PV system, and recognize energy-efficient building practices that support the state's clean energy future. This course fulfills the continuing education requirement for Vermont licensed professionalsunder 3 V.S.A. § 138.
