Minnesota Agency Law and Fair Housing

This course is designed to fulfill the Agency Law and Fair Housing requirement for real estate professionals in Minnesota. The course will focus on the rules and laws regarding agency relationships. Participants will discuss both how agency relationships can be created and terminated. The course will also detail the types of agency relationships that can be entered into in Minnesota. Students will discuss the specific disclosure requirements that licensees have when first coming into substantial contact with a potential client. Students will also focus on federal and state-specific Fair Housing Laws. Participants will discuss the exemptions to Fair Housing, as well as the parties responsible for enforcing Fair Housing.
