The course covers critical regulatory changes, contract fundamentals, water rights considerations, and fair housing requirements that impact your daily practice. The course explores recent legislative changes from the 89th Texas Legislature and examines TREC's rulemaking process and advisory committees, while providing practical guidance on contract form selection and proper disclosures. It also provides valuable insights into Texas water rights-increasingly important in rural transactions-and refreshes your understanding of fair housing laws to ensure ethical practice and client protection.
• 2026-2027 Texas Legal Update II: This 4-hour 2026-2027 Texas Legal Update II course ensures license holders can comply with current laws and rules with a specific focus on agency relationships and competency standards, lawful activities for unlicensed persons, advertising compliance, artificial intelligence uses and cautions, VA loan program features and benefits, the complaint process, and requirements for criminal disclosure.
• A New Look at Contract Law: In this course, expect to gain valuable insights on real estate contract history, evolution, and definitions and how to apply these learnings to the various forms and formats. Additionally, you'll cover the legal angles including contract breach and Statute of Frauds.
• Ethics in the Age of Disruption: This course trains and instructs REALTORS® on the practical application of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and fulfills the REALTOR® Triennial Ethics Requirement. • 2025-2026 TREC Broker Responsibility: The 2025-2026 TREC Broker Responsibility course delves into numerous key topics beneath the umbrella of broker responsibility. Chapter 1 covers the key elements regarding the supervision and structure of a Texas real estate brokerage, including coaching, working with unlicensed assistants, assigning mentors, and more. Chapter 2 focuses on the importance of keeping updated policies and procedures for a brokerage.
