This course is designed to provide the real estate professional who is renewing his or her license for the first time with an overview of Pennsylvania laws pertaining to real estate. Beginning with a discussion of the Uniform Construction Code, it continues with a study of various environmental concerns. Modular, manufactured and site-built homes are described and the differences between them detailed. Homeowners insurance and home warranties are examined, and there is an in-depth discussion of mortgage lending and foreclosure. The course concludes with an examination of federal and state Fair Housing laws.
