This course is approved for 2 hours of continuing education. The purpose of this course is to ensure licensees can adhere to federal and state-specific fair housing laws. Chapter 1 highlights the evolution of fair housing laws. Chapter 2 and 3 delve into protected classes under federal and state fair housing laws and actions considered unlawful under these laws. Specific focus is given to the fair housing compliance in real estate sales or rental transactions, including advertising. The methods for enforcing fair housing laws are also covered.
