- Utah Mandatory Residential Course: This course covers topics associated with agency relationships, agreements, and fiduciary duties for Utah licensees. You will learn about the importance of correctly handling your client's earnest money deposits, adding various conditions and contingencies to protect your client's best interests, and making sure that you and any other licensee involved in the transaction properly disclose all known or potential property defects after better understanding which forms to select. You will also learn about the most effective and legal ways to advertise to find clients and how to minimize any risks associated with your client's deals.
- A New Look at Contract Law: In this course, expect to gain valuable insights on real estate contract history, evolution, and definitions and how to apply these learnings to the various forms and formats. Additionally, you'll cover the legal angles including contract breach and Statute of Frauds.
- May the Code Be With You: This course covers the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics, ethical practices, and decision-making in real estate. This course may be approvable for REALTORS® interested in fulfilling NAR's Code of Ethics requirement. To find out, check with your local REALTORS® association.
- Taking the Distress Out of Distressed Properties: Learn from industry experts who have worked closely with distressed property transactions. Though foreclosures and short sale properties aren't as prevalent as they were following the housing bubble burst, there are still homeowners considering short sales as a way to avoid foreclosure. There are also lenders interested in reducing their inventory of foreclosed properties. In this course, learn how to expand your business while serving the needs of sellers, buyers, and lenders.
- Handling Multiple Offers: Multiple offers often happen in a seller's market when competition for residential property is greatest and there are more buyers than there are properties for sale. However, it can occur in any market and especially for properties within an affordable price range. In this course, prepare for how to handle the scenario, no matter the market condition.
- Workforce Housing: Solutions for Homes and Financing: This course covers information to aid real estate licensees in better understanding the purpose of workforce housing and different processes for developing and financing workforce housing projects. Additionally, buyer home financing solutions are covered. This course is intended to enhance the knowledge and effectiveness of real estate licensees and is approved for 4 hours of continuing education.Â
