The first chapter in this course provides an overview of the structure of the Kentucky Real Estate
Commission (KREC). It also discusses the responsibilities, mission, and authority of the KREC.
The second chapter reviews the requirements to keep a license in good standing. It covers the
KREC’s administrative processes, filing deadlines, and necessary paperwork that licensees need
to maintain their license. The final chapter of this course focuses on the standards of professional
conduct and advertising in real estate. This chapter also provides a detailed review of fiduciary
duties, contract requirements, disclosures, agency agreements, and advertising laws.
