Wisconsin 2023-2024 Elective 2 Drafting and Handing Contracts

This three-hour elective course reviews some of the challenges associated with various types of real estate transactions. Chapter 1 reviews a licensee’s role in contract creation and reviews selected provisions in the standardized WB-11 Residential Offer to Purchase and the WB-25 Bill of Sale forms. Chapter 2 reviews some basic concepts related to zoning and land use before moving into a discussion of selected provisions in the WB-3 Vacant Land Listing Contract-Exclusive Right to Sell. Chapter 3 begins with quick look at the importance of agriculture in Wisconsin and the state’s Right to Farm law. It reviews certain provisions in the WB-12 Farm Offer to Purchase contract and discusses some of the unique considerations when buying farm property.
