Courses:
  • Michigan Fair Housing: This course will help you gain a working knowledge of the history, key points of federal and state Fair Housing laws, and developments over the years. You'll also examine advertising policies and exemptions through case studies.
  • May the Code Be With You: This course covers the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics, ethical practices, and decision-making in real estate. This course may be approvable for REALTORS® interested in fulfilling NAR's Code of Ethics requirement. To find out, check with your local REALTORS® association.
  • Taking the Distress Out of Distressed Properties: Learn from industry experts who have worked closely with distressed property transactions. Though foreclosures and short sale properties aren't as prevalent as they were following the housing bubble burst, there are still homeowners considering short sales as a way to avoid foreclosure. There are also lenders interested in reducing their inventory of foreclosed properties. In this course, learn how to expand your business while serving the needs of sellers, buyers, and lenders.
  • Implicit Bias Awareness and Cultural Competency: This course explores implicit, unconscious biases and how, by understanding them, we can interact and communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Handling Multiple Offers: Multiple offers often happen in a seller's market when competition for residential property is greatest and there are more buyers than there are properties for sale. However, it can occur in any market and especially for properties within an affordable price range. In this course, prepare for how to handle the scenario, no matter the market condition.
