Courses:
  • D/L Maryland A - Legislative: This three-hour course covers recently enacted legislation regarding real estate brokerages, housing and taxes, and property management. The topics covered include an overview of the legislative process of the U.S. and the state of Maryland and recently passed senate bills and house bills pertaining to real estate.
  • D/L Maryland C - Fair Housing 2025: This course is approved for 2 hours of continuing education. The purpose of this course is to ensure licensees can adhere to federal and state-specific fair housing laws. Chapter 1 highlights the evolution of fair housing laws. Chapter 2 and 3 delve into protected classes under federal and state fair housing laws and actions considered unlawful under these laws. Specific focus is given to the fair housing compliance in real estate sales or rental transactions, including advertising. The methods for enforcing fair housing laws are also covered.
  • D/L Maryland D - Maryland Ethics: The Maryland D: Ethics in Real Estate Transactions course is approved for three hours of continuing education. Chapter 1 focuses on the Maryland Real Estate Commission Code of Ethics and Chapter 2 covers a variety of mortgage fraud schemes, including predatory lending and illegal property flipping.
  • D/L Maryland H - Brokerage Relationships and Disclosure: How prepared do you feel to tackle every agency situation that comes your way? Understanding what agency is-and isn't-is key to your success as a licensee. Even experienced licensees can get confused by the myriad duties and responsibilities they owe to clients and third parties in brokerage relationships. Understanding the Maryland law and regulations about brokerage relationships and the related disclosures helps licensees comply with their legal obligations and better serve the consumers with whom they work. Licensees who have a firm grasp on these topics are well-equipped to explain the options available to consumers using the appropriate MREC forms, including the Understanding Whom Real Estate Agents Represent and the Consent for Dual Agency forms.
  • Maryland I - Supervision: This course is approved for 1.5 hours of continuing education. The purpose of this course is to provide brokers, team leads, and branch office managers with the tools to better fulfill their role of supervisor. The course covers supervision requirements set forth in the Maryland Real Estate Brokers Act and Commission Regulations; and, incorporates information received during meetings with brokers and other key industry leaders related to current supervision issues.
  • Maryland M - Property Management and Landlord Tenant Law: This course is approved for 3 hours of continuing education. The purpose of this course is to ensure licensees gain an understanding of a property manager's role in working for property owners and fulfilling their duties to tenants. Specific focus is given to key provisions of the Maryland Landlord Tenant Law specific to residential property management.
