Also covered are agency relationship opportunities and risks for licensees and their employing designated brokers, such as related to the handling of client funds, advertising, disclosures. Various ways to analyze commercial property values while comparing with other nearby, similar properties will also be included. Other consumer complaint risks will be covered as they relate to engaging in unfair competition or alleged anti-monopoly business practices.
  • New Washington Real Estate Fair Housing: The Washington Fair Housing course provides a thorough review of the Fair Housing Act and the Washington Law Against Discrimination, including the historical context that led to these laws, the actions and categories specifically protected by these laws, and the role of brokers and managing brokers in preventing discriminatory acts.
  • May the Code Be With You: This course covers the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics, ethical practices, and decision-making in real estate.
