This three-hour elective course provides some review and insight into the challenges associated with the many aspects of handling various real estate transactions. Chapter 1 reviews the economic causes of borrower default that can result in short sales or foreclosures and then discusses the licensee’s role in assisting with these processes. Chapter 2 reviews several contingencies in the WB-11 Residential Offer to Purchase and discuses the proper handling of counter-offers. Chapter 3 addresses strategies licensees may adopt to reduce risk in their everyday practice.
