Minnesota 7/1/23-6/30/24 SALESPERSON & BROKER REQUIRED MODULE--Fair Housing, Agency Law, & Legal Update


This course will cover laws related to agency, settlement service referrals and disclosures, common interest communities, and fair housing. Chapter 1 provides Minnesota real estate licensees with knowledge of agency relationships and duties in Minnesota. Chapter 2 covers the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act with a focus on requirements for lawful referrals, marketing services agreements, and mortgage loan disclosures. Chapter 3 covers key provisions of the Minnesota Common Interest Ownership Act and highlights different types of properties covered under the Act, disclosure obligations, and purchaser rights. Chapter 4 reviews federal and Minnesota-specific fair housing laws and resources. This is a 3.75-hour course that both Minnesota salespersons and brokers must complete. This course satisfies the following Minnesota CE requirements: 1-Hour Agency, 1-Hour Fair Housing, and 1-Hour Broker.
